Things To Know Before Your Visit
Playroom Behavior
Our play space is designed for children ages 3–10 and supports imaginative pretend play that encourages learning. We provide designated areas, toys, and activities for younger children as well as older siblings, with adult guidance required. Parents and caregivers are expected to actively supervise their children at all times and remain mindful of developmental differences. This space is not intended for social gatherings where children are left unattended. Active supervision is required to ensure all children use the space safely and respectfully so that it remains an enjoyable environment for everyone.
Playroom Care
Please help your child tidy up areas they are finished using. Tidy play teaches respect for shared spaces and helps keep the space enjoyable for everyone.
We are so grateful for parents who help tidy throughout the day!
Stroller Parking & Etiquette
If possible, we encourage guests to leave strollers in the car. But we totally get it—sometimes parenting is easier with wheels! If you bring a stroller inside, please be mindful of others and practice simple stroller etiquette to keep pathways clear and safe. Small umbrella strollers work well in our space. Large strollers may not be allowed if space does not allow at the time of your visit.
Shoe Policy
We went back and forth on this policy because we understand that putting shoes on and taking them off—especially for young children—can be exhausting. However, for the safety and cleanliness of our playroom, shoes and bare feet are not permitted in the carpeted play area. Socks are required for both children and adults at all times. Grippy (non-slip) socks are strongly preferred to help prevent slips and falls. If you forget to bring socks, they are available for purchase at the front desk.
Food and Drink Policy
For the cleanliness and safety of our playroom, all food and drinks must remain in the designated eating area at all times. Outside snacks and packed lunches are welcome; however, please be mindful of food allergies. We kindly ask that peanut and peanut-containing products be left at home.
Please note: While we ask that parents refrain from bringing food containing peanuts, we cannot guarantee a peanut-free environment. Due to the nature of outside snacks and packed lunches, we are unable to inspect each guest’s food. Parents and caregivers are responsible for managing their child’s food allergies, and we are not liable for allergic reactions that may occur.
We do have prepackaged snacks, water, and juice boxes available for purchase on-site.
Sick Policy
To keep our space healthy for everyone, we cannot grant admission to children who are sick. We reserve the right to refuse service to protect the well-being of our guests.
Please stay home if your child—or anyone in your household—has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:
Fever of 100°F or higher
Diarrhea
Vomiting or nausea
Heavy cough or croup
Sore throat or swollen glands
Runny nose, especially green or yellow
Signs of Hand Foot and Mouth.
We appreciate your help in keeping our play area safe, happy, and healthy!
